It's all about
the wiggle

Our company was created by two lifelong friends who met attending a boarding school for underprivileged children.  We each had achieved personal success in our lives, yet still yearned to grow something of our own. Something that could make a difference in our community.  An introduction into raising worms for bait and composting for our home gardens, blossomed into  Eaton Worms.   A company with a passion to educate communities about the benefits of using organic worms for recycling and composting to create a natural fertilizer that grows vibrant fruits, vegetables and plants.  Our worms are also a prime bait for snagging the bounty of the waterways.  Through Eaton Worms premiere products we hope to enrich our customer’s lives helping them use Earth’s natural resources for their benefit.

Vermicomposting Process

A type of composting in which worms are used to break down organic matter into nutrient-rich compost.

1.

Choosing a container

Vermicomposting can be done in a variety of containers, such as a bin or a pile.

2.

Adding bedding

Bedding provides a habitat for the worms and helps to maintain moisture levels in the compost.

3.

Adding worms

Red wiggler worms are commonly used for vermicomposting. The worms will eat the organic matter and break it down into compost.

4.

Adding organic matter

Organic matter such as fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and grass clippings can be added to the container.

5.

Maintaining the compost

The compost should be kept moist, and regularly aerated by mixing the contents of the container.

6.

Harvesting the compost

Once the compost has been broken down by the worms, it can be harvested by removing the finished compost from the bottom of the container.

The power of organic waste recycling

We believe in the power of organic waste recycling, and our worms play a vital role in this process. By feeding our worms nutrient-rich materials, we create vermicompost—a natural and potent fertilizer that enriches soil and promotes plant growth.

community support has made a significant impact on our efforts to provide optimal nutrition for our worms.

The fruits and veggies donated by local farmers and are an essential part of our worm feeding program. These fresh and nutritious items ensure that our worms receive a diverse range of nutrients, creating a healthy and thriving worm population.

By collaborating with these farmers, we are not only reducing organic waste but also supporting local agriculture and fostering a sense of community. Together, we are working towards a greener and more sustainable future.
